i worked out of a lockshop in VA for many years through the 90s. then i moved the shop to MD sometime around 2000. i kept the shop in VA locked up and stored some locks, stock, my old desk, and a lot of other stuff down there. but this week i told my guys to go into the shop and take out whatever they wanted and bring it all back here to the shop we use now because we were going to give that room up to the general mechanics crew there at that location.
so my locksmiths went down to the old shop a couple of days this week and cleaned out what they wanted. there was still a lot of good stuff left, but we only have so much room here now. so the rest will most likely be thrown out. Godfrey and Derrick, my locksmiths, brought back some old machines, some of my old tools, locks, and some of my old uniforms. they were amused by the old uniforms being brown instead of the blue we wear now. and also the fact that i used to fit into a L shirt. well, that was quite a while ago....
