early yesterday morning my very brave and daring son and daughter-in-law had baby #3! yay!!!
i say that they are brave and daring because they had a home birth. they did it all themselves. i prayed a lot the past few months that everything would go smoothly. praise the Lord, it did.... this is the note Sean sent out yesterday:
"Hi Everyone,
Vencenzo Matthieu Aaron La Fianza was born at home this morning at 4:20a with plenty of prayer and no complications, weighing around eight pounds. After six weeks of hard prodromal labor every evening, contractions started like normal around 12a. Four hours later we welcomed Little baby "Venzo" into the world.
After such a long long long pregnancy we are so thankful to God for a smooth birth with no postpartum problems.
thank you for your prayers for us through these last nine months!
Sean and Laura"
i really love the name. i'm thinking of calling him Vencenzo. no nick name from me.... but we'll see i may end up calling him Enzo or Ven, or something like that.... i can hardly wait to go meet him.... i may have to take a day off from work and drive up. being a grandpa is cool! :-)
